I had breakfast here this morning.. full English tasted great.. the lady running the cafe was nice and polite.. service was fast and food also came quickly.. I would have given 5* had it not been for the portions.. in my opinion they are a little small.. nevertheless I would recommend and definitely go again 4*
This is a great find and I've been coming here for years. The owners wait on tables and cook the meals and are fantastic, friendly accommodating and all round lovely people. Food is fab as is the menu range especially for vegetarians too. Only thing I'd say is the younger staff there in the summer when I've been, have not been very friendly or customer focused. In fact rather unfriendly, non smiling and seem to miss customers waiting to give their orders. I waited 12 minutes to give my order and had not been approached and had to call someone down. Then a further 25 minutes to receive toast, egg, tomatoes and veggie sausage. They had not told me there were delays. Very different attitudes from the fabulous lady who owns and runs this cafe who I usually am served by. Perhaps some staff training for these girls?
