AVOID AVOID AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!Have been a very tolerant customer due to struggling to find another half decent Chinese take out however, my last order really has made me certain not to return. They have sent me orders with missing items multiple, sometimes even when they send the missing items there are still more missing. The last time the man started swearing at my mum on the phone telling her he had still been nice to her so far as if they werent the ones making mistakes and she should be grateful. When my siblings went to the store to get our money back a 7ft tall man squared up to my sister and threatened her with violence. Terrible place will never return and I will make sure all my friends in the area will avoid this place like the plague! The food is honestly sub standard. Nothing is that good. When they went to the store, hygiene was a concern by the state of it made me sick to know we ate there. where we can we would rather collect from royal China or taste of China. At least the service matched the food. Golden palace should be ashamed and with the threatening of a girl half your size because of YOUR mistake you shouldnt be working in customer service. At least if your food was good it would be worth something. AVOID
Was lovely food before...however tonight's food was just tasteless. Sadly will be the last time I'll order from them

Giving a 1* review because I cant give a zero. This average place gets business because there are no decent Chinese takeaway restaurants in this area... but it is late for delivery every single time. The staff on the phone or the delivery driver manufactures a poor excuse for the delay and never proffer an apology for their poor service. I have had enough of wasting evenings waiting for mediocre and cold food from Golden Fountain. I will never order from here again. I suggest others avoid them too.
