Have just exchanged on the sale of my flat in South Harrow with foxtons and the service they have provided has been exceptional.I originally went with another local estate agent, and only had 9 viewings in 12 weeks, and no serious offers. Within 1 week of being with foxtons, I had 12 viewings, and 1 serious offer, and within 10 days I had accepted an offer at asking price. Foxtons may be a bit more expensive then the local estate agents, but they are worth it. I originally dealt with Shaun, and everything he stated that foxtons would do was spot on, especially regarding a massive increase in viewings compared to the previous estate agent. Hex found the buyer and managed everything up to exhange, and has been superb, always chasing the relevant parties and keeping everyone up to date. 5 out of 5 service. Tom
I had fantastic service from Milo and his colleagues, who kept me regularly updated on the transaction and went above and beyond in order to ensure we could proceed with exchange and completion of our sale in challenging circumstances. They were able to overcome a number of issues and got the job done.
Foxtons has been very effective to find a place for us but then put a lot of pressure (several calls and emails per day) to get the payment of the first month rent and the agency fees. From the moment they got the money transferred, we started to struggle to get answers to our emails. In fact they did not care at all anymore. For example on the day we moved to the new appartment, nobody knew where the keys were! The landlord said Foxtons was responsible so we've been to Foxtons agency but Foxtons said the landlord was suppose to take care of it. Solution proposed by Foxtons: borrow to the landlord the key of the appartement door and to access the building just leave the backdoor open or ring the bell of a neighbour.
Excellent service from Nikita at Foxton's Harrow. She never gave up on trying to find the right place for me to buy even though I was quite fussy. She always listened and took my needs into consideration without ever being pushy. Highly recommended.
