EXCELLENT. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Ive used multiple mechanics over the years & Steve's knowledge, professionalism and pricing are first class. I wish I had discovered him sooner. He is VERY professional, also has a VERY detailed eye and is tremendously knowledgable. Really warm, friendly & respectful chap too.I called him as my car was totally dead and not starting, no sound, no dashboard lights, no engine - nothing. He arrived on time and sorted it promptly. Also - whilst there, he also discovered (an unrelated) split pipe in the bonnet - which I wasn't aware of, which would've caused the car further deterioration. He gave excellent very fair pricing. Other mechanics wouldve simply disappeared asap after lukewarm service! Steve an excellent professional who goes above and beyond. Detailed, knowledgable and very professional. I broke down and managed the find Autostart UK through a google search.Having called the gentleman named Steve, I was very impressed when he arrived within 15 minutes of me contacting him.Once Steve had arrived, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem with his wealth of knowledge.Unfortunately my car couldnt be fixed road side.However, Steve was kind enough to resolve this issue to. He managed to tow my car to the nearest garage.What really impressed me with this company and Steve was the aftercare. He contacted me a couple of days after the breakdown to ask how I got on with my car. This I believe showed that he is genuine guy taking care of his customers. He stated that if I needed anything else, not to hesitate to contact him.I wouls highly recommend this company as his service was second to none.
EXCELLENT MECHANIC, I have used Steve from Autostart previous times before and have always found him to be respectful, professional with an excellent knowledge of vehicles. I have called on Steve twice in the last two weeks, because my car was not starting and also very sluggish when driving. Steve changed the spark plugs and then suggested it could be the coil pack for the way the car was performing. Steve also noticed my car had a slight oil leak coming from the camshaft sensor. He recommend I speak to Northern Motors as I had not long had an oil leak repaired from the engine from them. As Northern motors has just recently closed its Harrow branch, and were now operating from Watford, they were very busy and were not able to take the car in straight away. I called Steve back and he agreed he would fit the coil pack. He advised me which one to buy and fitted it within five minutes. He also had a further look at the oil leak on the same day for me. He took the camshaft sensor apart and realized it had no seal (washer as I call it). Bless him, he hunted high and low for a seal to fit it and in the end he found one, and my car no longer leaks oil. I took it for a long drive afterwards and my Corsa runs like new. I have no hesitations in recommending Steve as a mechanic whose number you need to have in your mobile phone contact list. i have always found him to be helpful, reliable, respectful, honest, trustworthy and accommodating.
